This Privacy Policy explains how Regiocode Technologies ("we", "us"), which operates the Instalaundry brand, website and mobile app, collects, uses and protects your personal information. By using our services you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: name, mobile number and email address.
- Address and location: pickup and delivery addresses, and your device location if you allow it, to find your address and assign pickups.
- Order details: services booked, items, weights, pickup and delivery times, and order history.
- Payment details: payments are handled by our payment gateway partner (such as Razorpay). We do not store your full card numbers, CVV or UPI PIN.
- Device and usage data: device type, app version, IP address, crash logs and notification tokens.
- Communications: messages you send to our support team.
2. How we use your information
- To create your account and verify your mobile number with OTP.
- To schedule pickups and deliveries and to process payments and refunds.
- To send order updates by SMS, WhatsApp, email or app notifications.
- To provide customer support and resolve complaints.
- To improve our services, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
- To send offers, only where you have not opted out. You can opt out at any time.
3. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with:
- Our pickup and delivery staff and laundry partners, who receive your name, address and phone number to complete your order.
- Payment gateways and banks, to process payments and refunds.
- SMS, messaging, cloud hosting and analytics providers that help us run the service, under confidentiality obligations.
- Government or law enforcement authorities, when required by law.
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and other reasonable security practices as required under the Information Technology Act, 2000. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
5. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices and tax records.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct or update your details in the app, withdraw consent for marketing, and request deletion of your account and data. See our Account Deletion page.
7. Children
Our services are intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
